Rev. Fr. Ezekiel Sungerukuari, the Diocesan Chancellor on behalf of the Diocesan administration while handing over the motorbike keys to his colleague said that it will facilitate pastoral movements owing to the fact that he has seen moving up and downs without any means of transport as he attends to the pastoral needs of his parishioners.

In humility and love, Fr. Andrea Mbuniwia Peter while receiving his means of transport thanked God and the diocese Administration for giving him a means the motorbike which will make his pastoral work easy. He said that the parish is vast with many Christians in remote areas who need Pastoral care.

Fr. Mbuniwia thanked His Lordship Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala the Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Diocese and people working with him in Curia for considering the Christians of St. Bakhita Parish by entrusting the Parish a brand new Motorbike for the services of the lord.

Because of the numerous challenges facing the Diocese coupled with the long history of conflicts in South Sudan, motorbikes have become the easiest means of transport for businesses, official duties, and pastoral work is not exempted. Besides, motorbikes are the most common means of transport used by hundreds of thousands of young South Sudanese in towns and cities as taxis for carrying people.
